The Kutztown University GLBTQ Resource Center, herein referred to as KU GLBTQ Resource Center, is dedicated to advocating for and providing a safe space, community, and resources to Kutztown University’s LGBTQ students and straight Allies, as well as maintaining their rights to privacy.

Thus, neither the KU GLBTQ Resource Center nor the KU GLBTQ Resource Center’s website, also herein referred to as the website, will not share, post, or publish pictures of students or persons who are not openly recognized as an LGBTQ person, or do not wish to be identified as such. Nor will the website share, post, or publish pictures of person(s) without prior consent from said person, and/or a signed press release form from said person.

The KU GLBTQ Resource Center and its website will not share, post, or publish information about any person without prior consent from said person, including but not limited to name, sexual orientation, or affiliation to the KU GLBTQ Resource Center.

The KU GLBTQ Resource Center will not contact any person through email, or any other form of contact (e.g. phone, fax, social media, etc.), provided to the website for anything other than KU GLBTQ Resource Center business. The KU GLBTQ Resource Center will not send SPAM to any email provided to the website. The KU GLBTQ Resource Center will not sell or share any email shared on the website to any third party.

Mandatory Reporting
Employees of the GLBTQ Resource Center are certified mandatory reporters and are legally obligated to report any signs, or admission of, abuse or self-harm. Therefore, the KU GLBTQ Resource Center and its staff will be legally obligated to report any abuse or self-harm reported on, or through, the website.

Heart Representative
In order to ensure your privacy, we recommend that you reach out (via email or other means) directly or meet in person with our HEART advocate; or HEART advocate will be identified on our website’s staff page. You can also ask to be contacted by our HEART advocate by calling, or stopping by, the KU GLBTQ Resource Center. Contact information is found on the Contact page of the website. You may also email heart@kutztown.edu to make an appointment with an advocate.
